THE PRUSSIAN GUARD IS JUST IN FRONT
|
On the Heights of Sedan, where on September 2, 1870, Napoleon III. surrendered to King William I. of Prussia, the 77th Division is holding the entire front line of the First Army Corps, November 10, 1918. The 304th Machine Gun Battalion dug in. Indications are that this historic ground has not yet witnessed its last conflict. |
