Albert Moen - Post card dated April 11, 1913. They found his body That Friday and burial was that Wednesday. [He was lost while hunting]
Anna Peterson was first married to Andrew Hagen in
1882. Shortly after their marriage her husband sailed to America to find a home
for them. Later on she came to America with her parents and they settled on a
farm in the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.).
Eight children were born to this union: Mrs. Mabel Henderson of Bend, Oregon,
Mrs. Mercy Rossman of Chippewa Falls, Anton of Gilman and Elmer and Sam of
Withee. Three children and her husband preceded her in death.
In 1897 she was married to Ole Moen, also in the town of Worden. To this
marriage five children were born; Olaf Moen of Los Banos, Calif., Mrs. Hugo
Wolters and Mrs. Arthur Smosal of Withee and Chester Moen of Greenwood. One
child died in infancy. Also two stepchildren survive here, Otto Moen of Ely,
Minn. And Mrs. Emma Larson of Stanley.
