Joseph was the son of Gustav Wilhelm Hein (1851–1949) & Theckla Telka Kordzinski who Married 3 January 1878 in Berlin, Germany


Regina the daughter of Ferdinand Antone Hirzy Sr (1859–1922) & Elizabeth Ehritz (1863–1921) married Joseph F. Hein May 25, 1920.

 

THIEVES STEAL WEEDDING FINERY

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F Hein of this city met with misfortune while on their wedding trip in Chicago last Saturday, losing their traveling bags, suitcases and all the contents when burglars raided the apartment of the groom’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Muno, while the local couple were in attendance at a Chicago theater.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Muno, who where in Stevens Point at the time, having turned over their apartment to the bride and groom, are also heavy losers, the burglars having stolen practically all of their silverware.  The total loss will easily reach $500.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hein returned to the Muno apartment and about 11 o’clock last Saturday evening to find the doors open and all their belongings gone.  Dr. L.F.A. Hein of Oak Park, a brother of the groom, was with them at the time.  Realizing at once that the apartment had been visited by burglars, they sent in a report to police headquarters, and in a few minutes time three detectives were on the scene but failed to discover any clues of importance.

 

Taking inventory of their loss, the local bride and groom discovered that all their clothing had been stolen excepts that which there were wearing at the time.  Two suit cases and two traveling bags were gone, together with all their contents.  Jewelry belonging to the bride and also some money had fortunately been taken with the couple when they left the apartment.  Mr. and Mrs. Hein’s loss along will reach several hundred dollars.

 

Further investigation disclosed that drawers and been systematically rifled, the thieves taking valuable silverware of the Muno family.  Local relatives were communicated with the following day and Mr. and Mrs. Muno left Stevens Point at once for their home. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hein went from Chicago to Milwaukee to complete their wedding trip and will return to Sevens Point this week.  There were married in this city on May 18. The bride was formerly Miss Regina Hirzy-  Stevens Point Gazette
