Jorgensen, Norman E. (23 Aug. 1926 -19 March 2004)

WITHEE - Norman E. Jorgensen 77, Withee, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Miltary rites will be conducted by Lublin American Legion.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Norman was born August 23, 1926 in Taylor County to Andrew and Martha (Britton) Jorgen¬sen. He married Emma Anderson on December 15, 1951 in Dorchester. Norman served in the Korean War. Norman farmed and worked road construction in Wisconsin and Taylor County and as a security guard for Pinkerton Security Systems at Hurd Millwork in Medford.

Norman is survived by his wife, Emma Jorgensen, Withee; five sons, Stanley (Pat) Jorgensen, Medford; Joey (Karen) Jorgensen, Helena, Mont.; Lief (Kimberly) Jorgensen, Owen; Michael (Tish) Jorgensen, Medford; and Daniel (Barbara) Jorgensen, Sacramento Calif.; two daughters, Laurie (Doug) Rohland, Withee, and Wendy Jorgensen, Lac du Flambeau; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (Helen) Jorgensen, Sheffield, Iowa, and Raymond (Roselyn) Jorgensen, Williams, Iowa.
