Wallis, Paschel B. (24 Augl 1840 - 17 Jan 1922)
Paschel Brooks Wallis was born in Jefferson Co., N. H. Aug. 24, 1840. He came to Wisconsin when a child, settling in Grant County. On March 12, 1867 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Orzina Davis. In 1885 they moved to Clark County, Wis., where for years Mr. Wallis drove the stage from Neillsville to Withee, afterwards retiring and living in Greenwood until his death, Jan. 17th, 1922. Mrs. Orzina Wallis died July 12, 1906. Mr. Wallis was again married to Mrs. Laura Redfield, Aug. 12, 1909. She died Feb. 8, 1914.
Deceased leaves to mourn him, Dean and Vern Wallis of Greenwood; Mrs. Blanch Marvin of Duluth; Mrs. Grace Millard of Vida, Mont.; and one step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Barrows of Mitchell, S.D. He also leaves a number of grandchildren and a host of friends.
Mr. Wallis was also an old soldier and the body was laid to rest with military honors.
Funeral services were held from the local M.E. Church last Sunday afternoon, Rev. Bickell officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Died, at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Thos. Leach in Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.,
Feb. 6th, 1914, at 7 o’clock p.m., Mrs. Laura Wallace, age 85
years, 3 months and 28 days. She was born in Ashtabula Co., Ohio,
*Oct. 8th, 1828, moving there with her parents in the early days of
1847 to Lodi, Wis., where she resided with her parents till the
time of her marriage to Christian Hannay, Sept. 15th, 1858, leaving
there to make their home in Waupun. Two children being born to
their union, Arthur Hannay and Mrs. Thos. Leach, both of this city.
Moving from there to Augusta in 1867, where they resided till the
time of his death in 1882, at the age of 75 years. On the 13th day
of March 1884 she married John Redfield and moved to Eleva,
Trempleau Co., Wis., where they resided till 1902 when Mrs.
Redfield came to Greenwood, marrying P. ("Park") Wallace, Sept. 4, 1904,
where they resided till the time of her death. She leaves a
husband, three sisters, one brother, two children and many friends
to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at the home of her
daughter Sunday afternoon at three o’clock by Rev. Willmarth.
The remains were taken to Augusta, Wis., Feb. 9, 1914 for burial.
