Henry Bartholomay / Bartholomew was born in Prussia, Germany 17 September 1842 to Frederick and Minnie Vogal.  While living in Davenport, Scott Co., IA, they had a son that they named Louis C. Bartholomay.  Emma Minnie Bartholomay became part of their family while they resided in Clinton, Iowa in 1873.  A second son, Henry Bartholomay, was also born in that Great Buckeye state in 1874 and 1876, Adelia Bartholomay was born.  The family then moved on to our Badger State where a third son, Herman Bartholomay, joined the family when he was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, 10 Mar 1878.,  Following a relocation to Waukesha, Wisconsin,  Isabella Amanda Bartholomay was born in the early spring of the year, 2 Mar 1880.  Their youngest son, Henry M. Bartholomay, arrived 12 Apr 1885.  Henry later moved to Longwood, Wisconsin where he worked as a stone mason.  He died  in fall of the year, 27 September 1912 of a Cardial Rupture and is buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Wisconsin.  His son, Louis C. Bartholomay was also buried there.

William P. Bartholomew was born 13 Aug 1822 in Ohio.  When the 1880 Census was recorded, he was 58 yrs. old and his wife, Julia (56 yrs, old), were living in Lowell, Wisconsin with their 28 yr. old daughter, Julia V. Bartholomew, 24 yr. old Edward W. Bartholomew, 20 yr. old Madora Bartholomew and their youngest, Frank H. Bartholomew. Their first born son, Charles M. Bartholomew (b. Jan 1850 who was married, was also living  in Lowell, Wisconsin.
