Parker, Irvin Levette (5 Feb. 1865 - 12 May 1936)

Irvin Levette Parker, a resident of Clark County for over 40 years, passed away at the home of his daughter in the town of Dewhurst Tuesday, May 12, 1936, at 4:15 p.m. at the age of 71 years, 3 months, 7 days. He was born near Reedsburg Feb. 5, 1865, the oldest child of Mary Jane and Allen D. Parker. His early life was spent working on farms. It was while thus occupied that he met Miss Ann Eliza McPherson who became his wife October 30, 1997. To this union three children were born: Mary Anita, now Mrs. Fred Blencoe, Willis Donald, and Arthur Leroy Parker. Arthur preceded him in death in 1917 and his wife died in 1921. After his marriage he lived in Reedsburg, later moving to Elroy and still later to Neillsville and then to his farm home in the town of Dewhurst where he passed away.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter, Mary Anita Blencoe of Merrillan, Willis D. Parker of Iowa Hills, Calif., and a brother, Arthur Parker of Homedale, Idaho; Mrs. Chas. Sanford, a sister, of Colville, Wash., and a great aunt at Elroy, Wis., Mrs. Orcellia Millard.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church at Merrillan Sunday, May 17, 1936. He was laid to rest beside his wife and son in Oakwood Cemetery, Merrillan.

Bio: Blencoe, Mary Anita Parker (1888-1983)

Mary Anita Parker, who was known as Anita, was born in 1888 and lived in Levis, Clark, Wisconsin. I'm guessing she is fourth from left in the first row.  Fred and Anita Blencoe (Mary Anita Parke) lived in Dewhurst, Clark, WI. They moved to Washington state in the early 1950's. I believe they moved shortly after their home was destroyed.
