Mahn, Hannah (11 July 1867 - 12 June 1936)
Hannah Mahn, daughter of Johannah Schune, was born at Cedarburg, Wisconsin on July 11, 1867, and died at the home of her daughter Irene Schipper of Viroqua on Sunday morning, July 12, 1936, bringing her age at 68 years, 11 months and 12 days. Her death was due to complications.
Her entire life was spent in and near Neillsville with the exception of the past year when she made her home with her daughter Irene of Viroqua.
She was married to John Mahn on June 19, 1887.
Mrs. Mahn was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church here, and was one of the first members of the Ladies’ Aid of this church.
Children who survive are: Clarence of Santa Monica, Cal., Ossie of St. Paul, Minn., and Irene Schipper of Viroqua.
One brother, Adolph of Granton, three sisters, Mary Steinbach of Granton, Susie Heisler of West Allis, Emma Gressler of Milwaukee, and five grandchildren also survive.
One son Asa, and one brother Herman preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Schiller Funeral Home and at 2 o’clock at the Evangelical and Reformed Church. Rev. Wilson M. Bixler will officiate.
Burial will take place in the Neillsville Cemetery.

JOHN MAHN RITES ARE HELD AT GRANTON TODAY
Lynn---Funeral services were conducted at the Gilbertson Funeral Home at Granton this afternoon for John Mahn, 78, who died suddenly while riding on a streetcar at Wausau late Saturday.
Dr. H. H. Fechtner, Marathon County coroner, ascribed his death to cerebral hemorrhage.
The Rev. Wilson Bixler conducted the rites today, and burial was made in the Windfall cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed Lindow, Chili; Royal Stevens and William Kadolph, Loyal; and Arthur and Alfred Riedel and Robert Ure, Lynn.
Mr. Mahn, who lived in this community about 25 years ago, was a resident of Wausau and worked as a scissors grinder.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ed Schipper, Viroqua, and by two sons, Clarence and Ossie, whose whereabouts are unknown.
