Charles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Vetterkind, and Leona Raether, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson, both of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage at the Ev. Lutheran Parsonage at Thorp on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. F.H. Sprengler performing the ceremony. Raymond Raether, brother of the bride, and Lila Vetterkind, sister of the groom, acted as best man and bridesmaid. The bride was dressed in pink satin and carried a bouquet of pink roses, and her bridesmaid wore a dark blue silk dress. Both groom and best man were attired in blue suits. Twelve guests were were served a wedding dinner at the home of the bride’s parents and in the evening a wedding dance was given at the Reseburg hall.
The newlyweds will reside on a farm in the town of Reseburg, with the best wishes of their many friends.
