Boe, Halfrid (4 MAR 1860 - 21 DEC 1941)

Mrs. Jens Boe died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Dahl, Dagmar, Montana, Dec. 21. Mrs. Boe, who had lived at the home of her son, Henry Boe, for the past four years, went to Montana in September.

Halfrid Tzedt was born in Sogn, Norway, March 4, 1860, and lived there until after her marriage to Jens Boe, May 6, 1882, at the Boe church, Sogn, Norway.

In 1883 they immigrated to America and homesteaded near Spooner, Wis. They lived there for 12 years, when they moved to a farm near Eleva.

She is survived by four children, Mrs. Ida Flom, Wagner, Mont.; Ole Boe, Plentywood, Mont; and Henry Boe, Loyal, and Mrs. Anna Dahl, Dagmar, Mont. A son, Leslie Boe died in 1924; a daughter, Mrs. Sophie Engen, died in 1937, and her husband, Jens Boe, died in 1935. She had 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Trinity Lutheran church, Norden, Saturday afternoon, and interment was in the cemetery where her husband, son and daughter rest.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boe and children attended the funeral. Ole Boe, Plentywood, and Mrs. Anna Dahl, Dagmar, came to attend the funeral.
