Flink, August G. (30 Aug. 1878 - 25 July 1958)
Funeral services for August G. Flink of Unity, Wisconsin, who died at his home Sunday afternoon at the age of 78 years, were held Wednesday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran church at Unity, Wisconsin, Rev. Robert Langseth officiating, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Flink was born in Sweden on August 30, 1878, and at the age of three came to the Unity area, where he received his education in rural schools. He was married on September 9, 1908, in Milwaukee to Elsie Peterson, who preceded him in death. They engaged in farming until 1944. In 1944 Mr. Flink moved to the village of Unity, Wis.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Peter (Linda) Wootos, Mrs. Warren (Loretta) Fuller, both of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Frank (Beatrice) Obernberger of Athens; Mrs. Bernard (Alice) Tessmer, Colby; three sons, Loraine Flink of Waterford; Conrad Flink of Unity; Walter Flink of Spencer; 21 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Ella Stark of Unity; Jenny Uecker of Waterford; four brothers, William and John of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Carl and Oscar of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Also preceding him in death were one son, one daughter, four sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services for August G. Flink of Unity, Wisconsin, who died at the age of 78 years as reported last week, were held Wednesday, July 31, in the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Rev. Robert Langseth officiating, and burial was made in the church cemetery. Al Justman, Roy Justman, Mrs. J. A. Olson, Mrs. Alfred Johnson and Merlin Justman, accompanied by Mrs. Ansel Messer at the organ, sang "Softly and Tenderly, Jesus is Calling" and "Face to Face."
Pall bearers were Elmer Carlson, Lester Ewert, William Siegrist, Harry Mandel, Herbert Binning and Lester Safemaster. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Ronald Baldwin, Mona Flink, Nancy Flink, Bonnie Flink and Jerry and Elaine Obernberger.
