Lt. Ruth Perry of the Army Nurse Corps, U.S. Army, reported for duty at Camp McCoy, today.
The appointment to the rank of second lieutenant was announced on Tuesday by Col. William H. McCarty.
Lt. Perry, following graduation from the Abbotsford high school, took nurses’ training and was graduated from St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield. She practiced nursing at the Lutheran hospital, in La Crosse, and also in Sheboygan, prior to enlisting in the Army Nurse Corps. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Perry, now of Owen.
*Ruth Perry married Frances McClelllan 28 Aug 1948.
