The couple lived in Unity from 1932 until 1952, and then moved to Abbotsford to make their home with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kramer.

Pvt. Peterson, who was here on an emergency leave while his father was ill, was unable to be here for the funeral. Mrs. Ormasen, a sister, was here for the rites.
