The Family of Alexander & Nettie Crosby (King) Ireland

 

In 1905, forty-two year old Alex and his thirty-four year old wife, Nettie Crosby (King) Ireland were living in Abbotsford, Clark Co., WI.  He was a native of Scotland and the son of James Ireland.  Nettie was Wisconsin born to a father from Vermont and a Wisconsin born mother.  They had married March 10, 1891 at Stevens Point, WI. 

 

Alex was employed full time as a Locomotive Fireman and Nettie's days were filled with household duties and caring for their two sons--thirteen year old Wesley and and ten year old Charley as well as their two daughters--eight year old Anna O. and 7 month old Jessie F.
