Francis Burroughs/Borrows
was born in 1842 in New York. In 1863, he married Nancy in 1863 at Wilton, Wisconsin.
She was born at Concord, New Hampshire October 19, 1839. The family moved
from Elroy to Janesville where they spent the greater share of their married
lives together. In 1902, the moved to Greenwood and a few years after
that, to Tomah, where Franklin passed away. They had one daughter, Minnie
who was born May 13, 1866, and she
married Vernon J. Clute, but passed away May 15, 1903. Military Records Francis Burroughs may have fought as a
private Co. D, 30th WI Infantry. Census Records Sarah W. Blodgett - Sister-in-law, white
