Oldham Named Junior Kiwanian of the month (October - 2021)

At its Oct. 11 meeting, the Neillsville High School senior Kara Oldham was named Junior Kiwanian for October. She is the daughter of Tim and Kim Oldham and joined in the club’s Monday meeting during the month. In addition, she participated in the fall Adopt-a-Highway clean-up prior to the meeting.
Oldham is a member of Spanish Club and forensics and has competed in High Quiz Bowl events. Outside of academics, she is a member of the Black River Falls Figure Skating Club. In July, she was selected as Miss Neillsville.
Following graduation next spring, Oldham plans to enroll in a Wisconsin technical college, then transfer to a four-year school and establish a major.
“The Kiwanis Club takes pride in recognizing outstanding students like Kara Oldham and is pleased to have her joining them in meetings during the month as Junior Kiwanian,” Kiwanian Brent Shoup wrote in a press release.
