When Gottfried Braun and his wife moved back to Sheboygan County, WI, he transferred the property where this cemetery is located to his brother, Fredrick.  In 1917, Frederick and his wife, Maria/Mary, donated the property to the Forest Hill Cemetery Association and the Warranty deed specified it should be used for burial purposes.  Duane Horn, Braun Settlement Historian
