A great many changes have taken place over the past 100 years. From a small and humble beginning has come forth a witnessing community which is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. There has been changes in buildings as an emerging church needed additional room. There have been changes in synodical affiliations as Lutherans sensing the unity of faith merged into the American Lutheran Church. There have been changes brought about by two major wars and the constant threat of other wars. It has seen the effects brought about by a changing population and the problems that go with this type of change. Into such changing times, Our Saviors' Congregation was called and is called to be "The Church".

As the Church, Our Savior's has remained faithful to its calling. It has been a light to give direction to a community in change and people who wonder. Our Savior's has been the resting place of the weary, both in spirit and in body. Our Savior's has ministered to the needs of people where ever they are, and whoever they are. It was and is, and shall always be a "caring place", where the Gospel is preached and the Sacrament rightly administered.

For this reason, your pastor and family thank God for the opportunity to continue the work begun so long ago. We look back in Thanksgiving, but we also look forward to a bright and glorious tomorrow as we continue to proclaim a changeless message of love to a changing world.

Yours in Christ,

David E. Wenger
