Behrendt, Rev. August
Biography: [Page 1] The first official pastor of St. Luke’s that served from January of 1912 through August of 1914.
Dietz, Rev. Paul T.
Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from 1950 through 1952.
Milestones of Rev. Paul T. Dietz at St. Lukes.
1950: Instrumental in organizing a Ladies Aid group in October of 1950.
1951: The Ladies Aid joined the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.
1951-52: He was instrumental in organizing a Sunday School program and was pastor when a lighting system was installed.
Fischer, L.
Biography: [Page 1] Student pastor that served after Rev. August Behrendt from September of 1914 though July of 1915.
Goetsch, Rev. M. C.
Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from 1939 through 1949. During this time, St. Luke’s became a sister congregation of St. Paul’s (Curtiss) and St. Paul’s (North Green Grove). Rev. Goetsch changed the service schedule to German and English on alternating Sundays until 1942, when English alone was used.

Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from August 1952 though 1955.
Hausenstein, Rev. Steve
Biography: [Page 3] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from 1973 though 1975. During his pastorate, carpeting was installed. The nave floor was sanded, sealed and the sacristy was remodeled.
Heilman, Rev. G.
Biography: [Page 1] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from August of 1925 though July of 1939. During his pastorate, the church was badly damaged by lightning and services had to be suspended for three months to complete the renovations.
Kitzerow, Rev.
Biography: [Page 1] Served as vacancy pastor of St. Luke’s from August of 1921 through July of 1925. Rev. Kitzerow’s home church was in Withee.
Krause, Rev. Martin
Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from August of 1955 through 1957.
Predoehl, Rev. Theodore
Biography: [Page 2] Served as vacancy pastor of St. Luke’s from 1957 through 1958. His home church was in Withee.
Rakow, Rev. Roland
Biography: [Page 3] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from 1976 though 1986. During his pastorate, a new roof was put on the church (summer of 1978), the interior received fresh paint and varnish (1979), insulation and ceiling fans were added (1980), new siding was installed on the church (1980) and an amplifier was installed (1985).
Rasch, Rev. Arthur
Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from 1966 until his retirement in 1973. During his pastorate, new communion ware was put into service in 1966, a well was drilled (1967) and paid for (1968). Also during his pastorate, women of the congregation became voting members in 1970.

Biography: [Page 3] Served as vacancy pastor of St. Luke’s from December of 1975 through May of 1976.
Schneider, Rev. DuWayne
Biography: [Page 3] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s beginning in 1986.

Schrieber, Rev. O. W.
Biography: [Page 1] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from August 1915 though July of 1921.
Soremba, Rev. August
Biography: [Page 2] Served as vacancy pastor of St. Luke’s until August of 1955. His home church was North Spencer.
Sprengler, Rev. Donald
Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from July of 1965 through January of 1966.
Timmerman, Rev. Howard
Biography: [Page 2] Served as pastor of St. Luke’s from 1958 through 1962. During his pastorate, a new organ was dedicated on November 9, 1958, a new entrance was completed by members of the congregation and a new heating system was installed (1960).
Woodworth, Rev. Harold
Biography: [Page 2] Served as vacancy pastor of St. Luke’s from August of 1964 through July of 1965. His home church was in Colby.
