Val Volk at Greenwood, Wisc. on March 16, 1920.

Dear Cousin, Recd your card and we were glad to hear from you, well
you were lucky and we hope you wond(sp) get sick no more as I think
the “Flue” is going to a end more again. We all were sick at one
time with the “Flue”. The Neighbors don our chores & Willie felt a
little better so he was able to take care of us 3, looked bad here
for a while, we are all picking up only myself. I feel so weak &
rumy (sp) yet and hoping these few lines will reach you both well
and happy. Your Cousin, A. Gosse.
