Helicopter Expo May 1st
The OH6A Observation Helicopter (above) is one of the helicopters that will be landing at The Highground Saturday, May 1. The Helicopter Expo will take place from 1 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. that day, with several helicopters landing. Other equipment on site will be an HU12B training helicopter, Huey helicopter and Vietnam-era military vehicles. Visitors can also keep an eye open for jests as training missions may be occurring overhead. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact The Highground at 715-743-4224.
