Mary Davis
September 23, 1858 - November 12, 1938
Mary
Davis was a daughter of David and Diana Jones, who emigrated from Wales to
Wisconsin probably in the early 1850s. She
married Jeremiah (aka Jerry) Davis; both came to York Township from Fond du Lac
County (Rosendale Township) in the late 1890s.
Mary Davis was the mother of Belle
Mortimer, Jay Davis, Susanna
Benedict and Pearl Hales; all of whom are interred in York Center Cemetery.
