Levi Fulwiler
July 18, 1867 - October 24, 1903
Levi Fulwiler was born in Washington County, Wisconsin, a son of Israel and Mary Fulwiler who were also early settlers of York Township. He was the husband of Lois (nee Smithers), Fulwiler, who was a daughter of William and Lois Smithers, early pioneers of York Township. Lois Smithers was also a sister to Maggie Hales (a grandmother to Richard Eibergen) , a sister to Edna Lawrence, (the second wife of Horace Lawrence, another pioneer of York Township) and a sister to Dora Rowe, whose husband, Edward Rowe, was a brother to William Rowe, Don Rowe’s great-grandfather. Edward Rowe and Dora Smithers were married at York Center Methodist Church December 12, 1888. Death records indicate that Levi Fulwiler died accidentally.
