Dean Lindsley
July 15, 1896 - December 15, 1904
Dean Lindsley was born in York Township, the son of Ernest and Ella (nee Livingston) Lindsley. Ernest was the son of George and Sarah (nee Lawrence) Lindsley who came to York Township circa 1880. Ella was the daughter of Samuel and Esther (nee Windsor) Livingston who were early pioneers of York Township. Esther Livingston was a sister to Sophronia Lawrence Bassett (Jesse Lawrence’s sister-in-law) and Lorinda Lawrence (Horace A. Lawrence’s first wife) and Jane Palmer (Joseph Palmer's wife). Dean Lindsley died as a young boy of sugar diabetes. A note on his death certificate indicates that his family had returned from Washington state about a month earlier where he had been under the care of doctor. However, once back at York Township they "had no doctor".
