Alvin Vandeberg was a son of John and Lillian (nee Lawrence)
Vandeberg.
Lillian Vandeberg was a daughter of Horace A. and Lorinda (nee Windsor)
Lawrence, who were pioneers of York Township.
Horace Lawrence was a son of Jesse and
Almeda (nee Benedict), who were
also York Township pioneers. Three
of Alvin Vandeberg’s siblings, Manley
Vandeberg, Horace Vandeberg and Ida
Voight are also buried in York Center Cemetery.
Alvin married the former Julia Ziemba.
One of his sons, Manley G.
Vandeberg, who died as an infant, is also buried in York
Center Cemetery.
