Stephen D. AVERY, Private, Mustered Oct. 23, 1861. Discharged for disability Oct. 28, 1862. Re-enlisted private, Troop I, 1st Cavalry. Mustered April 1, 1865. Shot through the lungs at Fair Oaks and supposed to be killed, but recovered. Mustered out May 6, 1865.	Source #2

George Junkins BEAN, Private, Son of Levi, was a soapmaker. Mustered Oct. 26, 1861. Was in the battle of Fair Oaks, and the seven days before Richmond. Died after a sickness of five weeks in hospital at Newark, N.J., Sept. 9, 1862. Was buried there in Fairmount Cemetery. Left a wife and one child.	Source #2
