Krause, Charles (1881? - 28 APR 1947)

Charles Krause of the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) passed away at his farm home there on Monday morning, April 28, 1947, having reached the age of 65 years. Funeral services were conducted at the Thorp Funeral Home at ten o’clock Wednesday morning. The body was taken to Fort Atkinson where services were held at 1:30 Thursday afternoon with interment being made at Clinton, Wis.

Mr. Krause had been suffering from arthritis for many years but this affliction did not prevent him from building up one of the largest dairy farms in this vicinity. Due to illness he was obliged to dispose of his excellent herd of Holsteins and personal property about one and one-half years ago, but has been residing on the farm since that time.

An obituary will be published next week.*

(*I never found at obituary for him in the 5/8/1947 Thorp Courier)
