GABRIEL ADOLPHUS LUPIENT'S FAMILY
Gabriel married Mary Frances Cushing on Nov 30, 1865 in Greenfield, Salk County, Wisconsin. Mary Frances Cushing was from a large Irish immigrant family of 13 children. She was born Mar 9, 1847 in Boston, Massachusetts and her parents were Dennis Cushing and Catherine Casey from Galbally, Limerick County, Ireland.
In 1842, her father, Dennis Cushing and his wife and family, probably initially leaving some of their older children behind, boarded a ship in Ireland for St. John's, New Brunswick, Canada, spending seven weeks at sea. Shortly after their arrival in Canada, they moved to Boston. The family stayed in Boston until about 1848 when they moved to Milwaukee, and then to a farm near Fort Winnebago, later called Portage, Wisconsin.
Gabriel Adolphus Lupient and Mary Frances Cushing had 6 children: Letitia Mary, William "Frank" Franklin," Fredrick "Fred" Joshua, Moses Louis, George Dennis, and Anolia Mary.
