Hannah Graves
November 18, 1848 - March 3, 1898
Hannah (nee Gibson) Graves was born in Lincolnshire, England, the daughter of Edward and Mary (nee Holmes) Gibson.[i] She was the wife of Walter Graves. The Walter Graves family came to York Township circa 1888. Hannah was the mother to Edward Graves and Sadie Rowe. As such she was a grandmother to Glyde Steinich, Verla Hales and Milford Rowe; all of whom are buried in York Center Cemetery. In addition, she was probably a sister to Emma Root (George Root's wife), Martha Graves (Walter Grave's second wife), and Herbert Gibson (Maud Humiston's wife); all whom are also interred at York Center Cemetery.
