IN 1810 to 1820 A family by the name of James FLEEHART lived in this area.
and also the name of STEWART, Samuel and David and Richard. We think James
was killed by Indians, while hunting with his brother in laws, the Stewarts.
I have found a FLEEHART qwned land with a FERGUSON and one of the FLEEHART
girls married A J. BIGGS and one married a William PERRY. I know they left
after James FLEEHART was killed and went to Rush Co. any insight would
be helpful. Thanks

YATES: Looking for John Yates who married Sarah Lee DYER on Feb. 6, 1897
in Clark County, IN. He may have been born in KY prior to 1875, possibly
Monroe County, KY or surrounding county. There was a family of Yates in
the 1850/60/70 census for Cumberland County, KY who moved to Clark County
in the 1870's but I cannot tie him to them, but suspect he is related.
Any information will be greatly appreciated. I have his marriage certificate,
but no family information on it. This is my great mystery relative, so
any help really appreciated. Sincerely, Mark Fain .
