Vermont via Utica TWP, Oneida Co. NY. Arrived in Clark County in time for
1820 census. William probably died bef. 1830 as Mary Dustin is listed as
Head of Household. Parents of: William Dustin Jr. b. 1800 VT m.1822 Clark
Co. to Martha Ann WILLEY b.1802, Dau of Barzillai Willey & Elizabeth
MCCOUGH. Probable sibling to William Jr. are: Moody, Gilman, Mary, &
Fanny Dustin. William & Martha Ann left Clark County in 1841/42 to
move to Jefferson Co. Iowa. Very willing to share info on Dustins &
Willey.

I'm searching for information about the AKERS family in New Providence
(aka. Borden). My grandfather was Clyde Akers, born 1894 and died 1982.
His father was Willard, or John W. Akers. born 1855 and died 1927. His
father was Thomas Akers, born 1827. The last known location for Thomas
was Vincennes St. in New Albany (1900). He was living with his son, Charles
(born 1871). I'm interested in Thomas' father, grandfather, etc. Their
birth years, birth places and any other information.

originally recruited from Southern Indiana. I am looking for any diaries,
photos, letters, anything concerning the 49th Indiana. Also, The 49th Indiana
had two Colonels John W RAY, and James KEIGWIN, both of Jeffersonville,
any and all information on them. One last thing, a Camp Joe Holt, suppose
to be just outside Jeffersonville, any photos, or info on it. Thank you

Would like further details on their children, all probably born in Clark
Co.: Effie b. 1858, Sylvester b. 1859, Katie b. 1862, Sarah b. 1864, Charles

1864 in Spencer Co, IN. Lived in Clark Co near Jeffersonville for a time,
married Eliabeth BECKTAL/PECTAL. John White had a sister, Elizabeth White
who married James Hopkins WHITESIDES 19 Apr 1838 in Jefferson Co, IN. John
M. and Elizabeth Becktal/Pectal White had 2 daughters, Mary E. White and
Martha Jane White. Not known if they had other children. James Whitesides
and Elizabeth White had 2 daughters, Calista Whitesides and Martha Whitesides.
