Hunt, Newell The youngest son of one of Greenwood's pioneer merchants, born and spent his early youth in Greenwood, Clark County. Before World War I, Newell left Greenwood, moved to Chippewa Falls, where he was married in 1917 to Mary E. Comerford. The couple moved to Milwaukee, where Mr. Hunt managed an A & P Grocery Store for a few years after having served in the 107th Engineers during World War I. Kronberger, Leo (July 20, 1895 - January 15, 1985): Drafted in Clark County on July 25, 1918. Served in France and Germany in Company F, 343rd Infantry, 86th Division and Company M, 49th Infantry, 83rd Division. Was an escort for German Prisoners of War. Discharged on November 5, 1919.Image
