Hunt, Newell | The youngest son of one of Greenwood's pioneer merchants, born and spent his early youth in Greenwood, Clark County. Before World War I, Newell left Greenwood, moved to Chippewa Falls, where he was married in 1917 to Mary E. Comerford. The couple moved to Milwaukee, where Mr. Hunt managed an A & P Grocery Store for a few years after having served in the 107th Engineers during World War I.
